There is parking available for the ISAAC Symposium in the Owen G Glenn Building. While normal parking fees are approximately $30+ for the full day, a special one off cost of $10.00 for the day is being offered for those attending the ISAAC Symposium. Unfortunately we will only be able to accept cash payments as there will be no electronic payment facilities at the venue. The entrance is off Grafton Road (see map). Please advise Eamon Ellwood (e.ellwood@auckland.ac.nz) if you wish to take up this special offer. To take advantage of the $10.00 special fee you will need to follow the directions below.
On arrival at the Owen G Glenn Building, take your automated ticket which is issued from the kiosk, enter the car park and park your car. When you collect your name tag you in the foyer of the building at the registration desk, you will need to say you require a parking ticket for the ISAAC Symposium. You can then exchange the car parking ticket that you received when you entered the building in exchange for a prepaid ticket. At this time you must pay the $10.00 parking fee. When you exit the car park at the end of the day you need to use this new prepaid ticket and the barrier will allow you to exit without going to the cashier. If you lose this ticket you will need to purchase another.
To recap: A fee of $10.00 (cash only) for parking is payable on the day at the registration desk. Please let us know if you require a ticket by emailing e.ellwood@auckland.ac.nz and remember to bring the money on the day.
The registration desk will be open from 7:45 am. The symposium will run from 8:45am until 5:30 pm, and will be followed by a cocktail hour until 6:30pm.
